Vensafe

With the Vensafe Zervio sales system, the stores have the ability to sell products both by using product cards and touch screen, and often a combination of both.

The product cards are printed plastic cards which represents each its own product with an applied EAN-code and a unique Vensafe-code. The cards are recyclable and have no value before they are paid for in the cash register. For most of the product groups there is a picture of the product printed on the card. In Norway it will from January 1st be illegal to show pictures of tobacco on the cards. The alternative will be a product card where only the name of the product and information is offered.

The cards can be placed several places in the store, both in a product category in a shelf and by cash registers. Double exposure of product cards also in the category shelves will lead to increased sales when the customer finds the product one more time as a self-service in the shelf.
